Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all quotes, assignments, agreements, deliveries and invoices of DROPS Belgium BV. By accepting these terms, the client expressly and irrevocably agrees to our terms and conditions. Deviations are valid only if confirmed in writing by DROPS Belgium BV.

DROPS Belgium BV provides professional drone services including inspections, aerial photography, videography, thermography, cleaning, monitoring, agricultural applications and related activities. All assignments are carried out in accordance with applicable Belgian and European aviation legislation and only where conditions allow safe execution.

The safety of people, property and aviation always takes precedence. DROPS Belgium BV reserves the right to fully or partially refuse, interrupt or postpone an assignment if safety, legal provisions, weather conditions, airspace restrictions or other unforeseen circumstances require this, without being liable for any compensation.

The client is responsible for safe and unobstructed access to the location. Any delays or additional costs resulting from limited accessibility, obstacles or unsafe situations may be charged separately.

DROPS Belgium BV undertakes to perform its services with the necessary care and professional skill. Liability is limited to direct damage caused by a proven fault and is in any case limited to the amount for which the company is insured.

DROPS Belgium BV is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage, loss of profit, reduced energy yield, business interruption, loss of data or any other form of economic damage, except in case of intent or mandatory liability as determined by Belgian law.

Although professional cleaning can positively affect the performance of solar panels, DROPS Belgium BV provides no guarantee whatsoever regarding a specific yield, increase in output, energy gain or financial benefit following the work performed. The ultimate yield of a solar installation depends on numerous factors, including but not limited to the age of the installation, the technical condition of the panels, weather conditions, irradiation, inverters, cabling, shading, degree of soiling and other external influences over which DROPS Belgium BV has no control.

Any communication regarding possible yield improvements is purely informative and can never be regarded as a contractual guarantee.

Cleaning work is carried out exclusively using techniques and working methods in which the water load does not exceed that which may occur during normal or heavy rainfall. DROPS Belgium BV does not exert increased mechanical load on the roof structure and does not carry out any work that alters the watertightness of the roof.

Any existing defects in the roof structure, roof covering, seals, roof penetrations, fastenings, solar panels, underlying structures or other hidden defects remain entirely the responsibility of the owner or client.

DROPS Belgium BV cannot be held liable for water ingress, leaks or moisture damage resulting from existing defects, age, wear, construction faults, insufficient maintenance or other defects already present prior to the execution of the work, unless it is proven that these were directly and exclusively caused by a demonstrable fault of DROPS Belgium BV.

All imagery, measurement data and reports collected during the assignment are treated confidentially. Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable GDPR legislation.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, DROPS Belgium BV reserves the right to use anonymised imagery for portfolio and promotional purposes.

Invoices are payable within 30 calendar days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing. In the event of late payment, late payment interest is due automatically and without notice of default in accordance with the law on combating late payment in commercial transactions, as well as a fixed compensation.

All collection costs are borne by the client.

Cancellation by the client must be made in writing. In the event of cancellation less than 48 hours before the scheduled execution, DROPS Belgium BV reserves the right to charge preparation costs incurred and reserved time.

If an assignment cannot proceed due to weather conditions or legal restrictions, a new date will be agreed free of charge.

All reports, photos, videos, thermographic images and other documents remain the intellectual property of DROPS Belgium BV until the invoice has been paid in full. Reuse, distribution, publication or commercial exploitation by third parties is permitted only with prior written consent.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions from owners, managers or third parties. DROPS Belgium BV arranges the required operational aviation authorisations to the extent that these fall within its responsibility.

All agreements are governed exclusively by Belgian law. In the event of disputes, only the courts of the judicial district in which DROPS Belgium BV has its registered office are competent, unless mandatory legal provisions determine otherwise.

DROPS Belgium BV reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The most recent version always applies to new assignments and is available on simple request or via this website.

These terms and conditions are also available in Dutch. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English translation and the Dutch original, the Dutch version shall prevail and is legally binding.
